If the corporate event includes personal travel services, meal alternatives and menu planning or hospitality events that involve music, performances, presentations or other special events, find out how they handle these and what their experience has been in the past.  

When you have made a decision on the event management company, negotiate and sign an appropriate contract to protect you from non-performance and other issues.
